What is a Monthly Active Contact (MAC)?

Monthly Active Contacts (MAC) are contacts that have sent or received a message (excluding broadcasts) over the billing month.

What if I reach my Monthly Active Contact Limit?

If you reach your Monthly Active Contact limit, you can continue working as per usual but will be charged MAC Overcharges for the excess contacts. MAC Overcharges will be charged at the end of the billing month via your payment method in blocks of 100 MACs.

What is a Broadcast Message?

Broadcast messages are messages that are sent via respond.io’s Broadcast Module. Outbound messages sent through the Messages Module are not considered broadcast messages.

To estimate the amount of Broadcast Messages multiply the number of targeted contacts by the number of content blocks. For example when sending a broadcast to 10 contacts with 1 text content block and 1 image content block you will be sending 20 Broadcast Messages.

How does the free trial work?

Our 14-day free trial is designed to let you experience respond.io and confirm its technical fit. You will get immediate access to all Team plan features and can use up to 1,000 MACs.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time, just go to the Billing section of the Platform, and click Cancel Subscription. You will continue to receive the features and limits of your plan until the end of the billing cycle.

What payment forms do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also offer alternative payment methods for invoices exceeding $10,000 USD. Talk to our team to learn more.

How can I upgrade my plan?

Upgrade your plan at any time in the Billing section of the Platform, select a plan then click Subscribe.

Are volume discounts available?

We offer customized packages for Enterprise customers. If you anticipate needing more Monthly Active Contacts than available in the Team or Business plans, get in touch with us. We can tailor a package to your needs.
