Why use respond.io for Make
Respond.io is built for mid-market B2C businesses that need multi-step automation between respond.io and the rest of their stack. Most scenarios match contacts by email address or phone number. If your contacts come from channels that don’t share either, like Telegram, Viber or Messenger, those scenarios won’t complete until you collect one.
- Visual scenario builder for branching, multi-step flows
- Failed triggers retry automatically at 30, 60 and 90 seconds before stopping
- Get Message module lets you catch failed sends and retry them in the same scenario
- Enterprise-grade reliability with 99.999% uptime, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance and role-based access controls
FAQs about Make integration
Do I need Make if respond.io integrates natively with HubSpot?
Only if you want actions, not just visibility. The native HubSpot and Salesforce integrations show CRM fields inside respond.io. Make adds automation in both directions, such as updating a contact or sending a message when a deal changes stage.
When should I use Make instead of Zapier?
Choose Make when your automations run many steps or high volume and someone on your team is comfortable with a visual builder. Make generally costs less than Zapier for the same workflow but takes more setup. Growth includes Make, Zapier and n8n, so you can switch tools without changing plans.
Which respond.io plan includes the Make integration?
Growth and Advanced. Make is included from the Growth plan, alongside Zapier and n8n, so you don't need Advanced to automate with it. Starter doesn't include it.
Is Make's subscription included in my respond.io plan?
No. Make bills its subscription separately, based on your Make plan and usage. Your respond.io plan covers access to the integration, not Make usage.
